Garden Goddess My art has been deeply influenced by my experience in Native American spirituality, Shamanism, Jungian Psychology, my work as an Art Therapist, and by my study with my mentor, impressionist painter, Henry Hensche, who opened my eyes to see color. Travels to New Mexico, Switzerland, and Italy have also been important catalysts for the inner images that emerge. My drawings and paintings reflect these influences in the use of color and form, and in the subject matter that flows from my personal reflection. The images that I create flow from an awareness that life calls us to BE, to be present, to listen with full attentiveness, to learn, and to grow.

The Shaman The Shaman is Visionary Art inspired from a personal inner journey. The image that was born speaks to me of a balance among all living beings, a unity and cohesion which is the core of a vibrant family. It is the united world of the Shaman in each of us who has deep respect for all living things in both Ordinary and Non-ordinary reality. There is One Source, One Great Spirit, out of which all the multiplicity of life flows and out of which family is born. |
